Hey guys, it’s giveaway time! This time around it’s for a brand spankin’ new DVD of the horror anthology The Theatre Bizarre. I’m going to have a review of it up within the next few days, but for the moment I’ll just say that it’s damn good. You see, I have 2 copies of this flick. I was sent one to review, and then I won another copy. Now I’m passing my good luck on to you. Who doesn’t love free movies?
Here’s the way this is gonna work. I usually do random drawings, but this time I’m not going to be objective or random at all. Nope. It’s my blog, and I do what I want! Anyway, to win, leave a comment telling me why I should give it to you. Why do you deserve to win? Make logical arguments. Go on an emotionally charged tirade. Make me laugh. Tell me a sob story. Try to guilt or blackmail me into it. Hell, I’m not above bribery, so feel free to offer goods, services, cash, prizes, sexual favors, home cooked meals, whatever. Tell me whatever you think will make me choose you, and make it good. On Friday, May 25th, I will look at all of the responses and whoever makes the most compelling argument as to why they should be the winner will get the DVD. Pretty simple, huh? Good luck folks.AMENDMENT: I forgot to say "put your name and email address in the comment" so, um, yeah...do that too.

Give it to me because I'm awesome!
I directed and acted in a no budget short horror film with a few friends and nobody watched it!

Give it to me because I'm the biggest Savini and Udo fan of them all! And because I blacked out during the midnight showing of it at Chicago's Sci Fi Spectacular :(

I should win because I live and breathe horror.I love it and I can't get enough of it.I would fuck it if I could.--chris garrison chrisgarrison2007@yahoo.com
Give it to me because I don't deserve it. People that win contests never seem to deserve the winnings, so I make a perfect candidate.
Give it to me because god help you if you don't...
Give it to me because i seriously love Horror anthologies and i don't own one..you know the availability issues here in my part of the world...and since i'm 21 and most probably the youngest among the competitors for the Give away i would live longer than all of them and would remember you for longer time;)And i would seriously show the free Gift to atleast a 100 of my friends:) Anyways the movie was a mixed bag...my pick would be Karim Hussain's VISION STAINS..have a good time watching..Adios.

Let me have it, cause that leaves ten bucks more for food in a month that has seen too much spending already.Plus I am eager to see what Stanley did with the toads, we need more Stanley that`s for sure...I also promise a decent review of it after the fact!!! Did I mention that you rock? Enough of the slime, deal the dime!
Give it to me because I'm Austrian. Yes, I live here in good ol' Austria (not Australia) and I'm tired of reading about all the awesome competitions I can't attend, simply because I don't live in Austria.
Screw all that only to legal residents of the United States-crap - Austrians also have the right to win, that's why I want you to give this DVD to me!!

AH...The Theatre Bizarre. We meet again. In times past when our paths have crossed, it was in drool inducing reviews on Amazon.com, and a short but sweet encounter that led to ever so spicy temptation on Dread Central. Since I first heard of your doors opening, I have been intrigued by your promises of sights and sounds and all things...well, bizarre. Worthy others have perused this blog with intent of being sucked into your anthological abyss, but I submit here that I should be the chosen one, largely because "Playland" in San Francisco closed in the year I was born and left me feeling like something has been missing from my life ever since. In a search that has spanned decades, I have longed for the contentment that possibly only a shiny new copy of "The Theatre Bizarre" can bring.
First of all, thanks for having the giveaway! I'm not gonna say give it to me, anyone can say that!
But what I will say, is that I am a TRUE horror fan! 41 years and counting! My love of horror all started at the young age of 5 years old, when I got to see 'Night of the living Dead' for the very first time, way back in the summer of 1971, on KTVU Channel 2 - Bob Wilkin's Creature Features! Not only was this the very first time that 'Night of the Living Dead' got aired on national television! For me, this was the film that made me lose my virginity to the world of horror! And it forever changed my life, and instantly turned me into the TRUE horror fan that I am today! And if it weren't for Mr. Bob Wilkin's (RIP) and his Creature Feature's show! ...who knows, I might have turned into a TRULY pitiful sight! Like ALL the fans of the Twilight films! God forbid! I pride myself on the basis of knowing the TRUE difference between REAL horror and the utter disgrace to horror, namely the Twilight films...I can think of some others, but I will save you the pain! So with that being said, I believe that I TRULY deserve to win the copy of 'The Theatre Bizarre' Because it deserves to be viewed and owned by someone who has done his homework and knows horror!

I need this DVD. Watching it will stimulate my pineal gland and allow me to get my ass back to the 4th dimension, where I'm SUPPOSED to have a date with Barbara Crampton. Or maybe it's Jeffery Combs. Things get confusing in the 4th D which is why I need my pineal boost. I'm told that this is the movie to do it. Besides, it's got Udo Kier in it, and I almost got into a fistfight in the 70s defending his honor against a guy who said Flesh for Frankenstein blew, I've suffered through his bad dubbing in Story of O, and I even saw Barb Wire TWICE. Fellow fans of Udo Kier, who among you saw Barb Wire twice IN A THEATER. I paid my dues, friends, and now I just want to go to prom in the 4th Dimension with Barbara or Jeffery of even Tillinghast. So give it up!
And my email is DoctorLongGhost@hotmail.com
of course I forgot the e-mail:
