While it is not normally thought of as a killer animal movie, Dario Argento’s Phenomena (not Creepers, Phenomena) not only features Jennifer Connelly summoning swarms of insects, but it includes without a doubt the most frightening and disturbing killer animal in movie history. Actually, it might just be the most frightening and disturbing thing in a horror movie ever. Period.
